The success story of M. Asam®

The traditional family-run company was founded in 1963 by Ingrid and Erich Asam. Since then, innovative luxury cosmetics are developed and produced in their own laboratories and production facilities. For many years the family Asam has been investing in researching the anti-aging benefits of grapes, especially the ingredients in the grape seeds and the grape skin. The international team of scientists and dermatologists working for M. Asam succeeded in their mission to „explore the grapes beauty secrets“. This was the reason to set up first factory for processing OPC, cold-pressed grape seed oil, grape cell water and Resveratrol in Landau/Pfalz, Germany, in 1983.

In the year 2000 finally Marcus Asam, the son of the company founder, developed together with his wife Mirjam the cosmetic line M. Asam®. A luxurious cosmetic line based on the results of long-time dermatological and cosmetic research on the anti-aging ingredients extracted from grapes.

Besides grape ingredients we use high valuable plant ingredients and the latest innovative ingredients found on the market.“ says Marcus Asam proudly.

For 7 years now Mirjam and Marcus Asam are distributing their cosmetic brand through the German Home Shopping TV channel “HSE24”. They products are not only highly praised by our customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland but also in Italy, the United Kingdom and in the USA the cosmetic of M. Asam® is an absolute bestseller. Exclusive perfumery stores and pharmacies in the whole world also distribute the unique anti-aging skin care from Mirjam and Marcus.

Constantly new studies are performed, intensive research is devoted to developing new products and consisting products are reformulated and optimized. The company employs more than 200 employees in the family owned cosmetic factory in the „Altmühltal“ (2 hours north of Munich) and in the sales and research office located in Munich.

Did you know that latest studies have proven that OPC is currently the strongest natural known antioxidant and is more than 6 times stronger than vitamin C and even 18 times stronger than Vitamin E to fight against free radicals? Free radicals are aggressive oxygen compounds and are said to be the main reason for premature skin aging. In the first place they are caused by harmful environmental influences such as smoking or stress but also UV-radiation is a factor you should not underestimate.
